Chelsea’s Aleksandr Golovin & Alisson updates as Alvaro Morata’s future is in doubt

Chelsea v West Ham United - Premier League

Chelsea’s summer business

It finally happened last weekend at Stamford Bridge.

After a nine million pound pay-off, Antonio Conte is no longer the Chelsea manager.

Maurizio Sarri has been appointed the new Blues boss. And Sarri has already completed his first signing as Jorginho has signed on in west London.

On Tuesday there are plenty of transfer updates concerning Chelsea which are flying about. They concern Aleksandr Golovin, Alisson and Alvaro Morata.

Aleksandr Golovin & Monaco

Star Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin has been linked with a possible move to Chelsea from CSKA Moscow.

However Chelsea face a challenge to sign Golovin, as Ligue 1 side Monaco are also interested.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Chelsea remain in pole position to land the Russian.

Indeed, it’s suggested that Chelsea could wrap up the transfer in the next few days.

Alisson & Liverpool

Alfredo Pedulla also has an update on Chelsea’s attempts to sign Brazilian international keeper Alisson from Roma.

Following Belgium’s World Cup exit, rumours have got louder that Thibaut Courtois may leave the Blues.

It’s now claimed that Chelsea are open to selling Courtois provided they can sign Alisson as a replacement.

Liverpool have also been linked to Alisson this summer.

Chelsea may have to fork out 70 million euros on the South American stopper.

Alvaro Morata & Napoli

Will Alvaro Morata still be a Chelsea player in 2018-19?

The Spanish striker struggled in the second half of last season. So much so that Morata was omitted from the Spanish World Cup squad.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Morata is being courted by Serie A sides Napoli and AC Milan.

Napoli would seemingly have the edge over AC Milan as the Rossoneri have significant financial problems to content with right now.

Di Marzio claims that Morata wants to return to Italy.
